Finnish sauna

The Finnish sauna at Aura Spa & Lounge is a classic dry steam room with a temperature of 100–110°C and low humidity of 10–25%. It is the combination of intense dry heat and minimal humidity that allows the body to withstand high temperatures without feeling suffocated — and at the same time, every cell of the body is effectively warmed up.

During the session, the pores are actively opened, intensive sweating is triggered, which removes toxins and cleanses the skin. Vasodilation and acceleration of blood circulation relieve muscle tension and significantly reduce stress. The recommended time in the steam room is up to 15 minutes per session.

Important: pouring water on the stones of the stove is strictly prohibited - due to the low humidity and extreme temperature, this can cause burns. For the same reason, the use of brooms in a classic Finnish sauna is not practiced.

After the session, it's a must to cool down. Aura Spa offers a Swiss shower or a cold tub for this. The temperature contrast completes the recovery cycle and gives the same refreshing effect that keeps people coming back.

How is a visit to the hammam?

Hamam in Skhidnytsia at Aura Spa & Lounge is a relaxation format built around gentle heat and moist steam. Unlike dry heat, the warm steam of the hamam gently warms the body and creates comfortable conditions for subsequent stages of care. A classic visit lasts 45 minutes.

Morjana rituals and scrubbing

Under the influence of heat, the skin is steamed and prepared for cleansing. A Turkish steam bath in the Carpathians can be not only an independent SPA procedure, but also a stage of comprehensive care, for example, the Morjana body cleansing ritual. After staying in the steam room, you can proceed to scrubbing, massage or wrap, depending on the selected program.
